Functional Analyst - Dutch Speaking
Functional Analyst is required for a long-term contract position with a major blue chip client in Brussels, Belgium
The Functional Analyst must have the following skills and experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for analysing and describing what the system should do (functional) and with which qualities/restrictions (non-functional)
- Analysing, modelling and describing the requirements the customer wants from the IT solution in the projects
- Collecting, analysing and describing what the system has to do (functional system requirements) and defining the system scope for the project.
- Collecting, analysing and describing the qualities and restrictions of the system: the non-functional requirements.
- Responsible for the design of User Interface and usability of the applications
- Collecting, analysing and describing the look and use of an application: the usability requirements: draw up user profiles and elaborate prototypes that meet the needs of the different users.
- Responsible to acquire necessary knowledge and support project development and implementation from a functional perspective
- Support technical team in developing technical solution for the functional requirements and validate the technical solution.
- Review/develop system use cases, execute functional testing and support UAT
- Support implementation.
Key Skills/Knowledge
- Business requirement analysis, functional analysis of as-is system and processes, functional design of to-be system. Conceptualizing a solution at the level of a working algorithm
- Information modelling, Requirement modelling techniques - Use case/user story writing and User interface design
- Retail domain
- Functional testing
- Understanding high level technical solution and communication with developers
