Our government client is looking for an experienced Procurement Manager with relevant procurement experience gained from delivering a major capital construction project or programmes, ideally one with substantial business change experience.
The post holder will managing the procurement of project and cost management for professional services as well as overseeing the end of end process from initiation to contract award.
Looking for someone with Membership of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (MCIPS) as well as extensive knowledge of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.
Key Accountabilities:
Scope Development- project manage the development of the scope and tender information.
Call Off Contracts- drafting call-off mini-tender documents
Tender Evaluation Prep
Engagement with Framework Suppliers
Finalising Tender documentation
Organise tender returns and project manage evaluation process
Finance and Approvals
Contract Engrossment
Contract Handover and Mobilisation
The post holder will have the ability of providing effective procurement advice and can introduce innovative procurement management techniques to an otherwise mature business.
