WAN Network Infrastructure Project Manager (ENGLISH SPEAKING) is required for an initial 5 month contract based in Espoo near Helsinki, Finland.
My client has recently contracted with a Global Telecoms Supplier to replace and manage the client's Global Network Infrastructure - over 800 locations globally. The client is looking for an IT WAN Network Infrastructure Project Manager to manage the initial Infrastructure Foundation work stream in the Transition and Transformation programme to the network supplier. This will include coordination with the network supplier as they configure and deploy core infrastructure components, and directly manage all customer and other third party activities to achieve the service transition and enable the WAN transformation. The PM should have experience in managing general IT infrastructure change, with WAN network migration, LAN, Wireless LAN and third party vendor management highly desired.
The ideal candidate will live a commutable distance from Helsinki. However, our client is willing to accept applicants from other locations, in particular from the UK. A UK candidate should be willing to travel to Helsinki for approximately 50% of the contract period in terms of working weeks.

Daily rate to the contractor: Up to 450 euros per day (with the contractor covering their own expenses)
