Our Client, one of the world's foremost IT Telecoms companies, is looking to recruit a Contract IP Design Engineer to work in London.

The Planner is responsible for initiating augments on IP and Metro Ethernet Network as a result of the need to migrate customers onto newer technology, off end-of-life routers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
•Applies detailed understanding of current network configuration and technology to ensure capacity and efficiency of the planned designs. May participate in definition of new network configurations.
• Documents detailed technical design for installation of network equipment of moderate complexity, including written directions, graphical equipment layouts, and equipment topology. Also documents required customer migrations between different types of network equipment.
•Troubleshoots reporting errors and identifies data specific problems within large sets of data. Manually facilitates correction of reporting errors caused by data problems.
•Participates in the development of plans to augment, optimize, and reconfigure the network. May participate in cross functional teams to give input to Architecture and Engineering on Planning and Deployment equipment and network design requirements.
