Financial Accountant
Location: Redditch
Role: Contract
Contract Length: 7 months
Rate: 40 - 45 (hourly)
We are currently seeking a Financial Accountant for one of the worlds largest telecommunications company, as well as one of the largest providers of mobile telephone services.
Reporting into one of the two Regional Finance Managers, you will be responsible for preparing financial statements and get them through audits for legal entities. Your primary responsibility will be to meet external financial reporting obligations, which involves the full preparation of annual statutory accounts, as well as significant co-operation with their internal tax department and external auditors. Additionally, you will be responsible for reviewing the aggregated regional results reported to the US during the monthly book-close process.
As the Financial Accountant/Entity Controller, you will have the following experience and knowledge:
- Qualified Accountant (Preferably ACA)
- Solid experience in financial accounting
- Excellent analytical Skills
- Ability to build strong relationships
- Overseas GAAP knowledge (desirable)
The Accountant role will be based in Redditch and comes with a competitive rate.
