Description
Key Responsibilities
- Working across the full engineering life cycle from requirement gathering to qualification.
- You will be responsible for eliciting requirements from a range of stakeholders and then deriving those requirements to the appropriate level for subsystem specification.
- The requirements will be a mix of functional, non-functional and interface requirements and as such your experience will support you in either being able to derive the requirements yourself or in engaging with subject matter experts to aid in the derivation of the requirements.
- You will participate in activities supporting the ongoing maturity of the design and in supporting safety and qualification as required.
- You will also Support the ongoing process of change by raising Enterprise Change documents and providing impact assessments as required.
Key skills & qualifications
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering or related scientific discipline.
- Through life cycle System Engineering Experience (from Requirement analysis and design through to qualification).
- Experience of interface specification.
- Familiar with a formal Systems Engineering Lifecycle.
Knowledge in at least one or more of the following: -
- Computing Technologies/Storage Technologies
- Network Switches/Network Routing
- Gateways/Firewalls/TCP/IP Networking
- Consoles/Operating Systems
- Interfaces, including HCI, Power, Mechanical.
- Capture and Management of Requirements using relevant tools.
