Description

Flint are looking for an experienced Turkish speaking Programme Director who is a proactive, a doer' and hands on as and when required. Somebody who is able to apply Senior stakeholder management and escalation management to gain sponsorship.

As the go to person' works closely with Systems Engineers, Sales teams, Customer Operations and supporting function such as Supply Chain, Legal, Commercial, Logistics and Services Partners to deliver on customer and Business commitments and objectives.

Sets the organisation up for success, ensuring that there is proactive communication enabling project and operational readiness, and driving relentlessly to assure a right first-time, every-time, on-time delivery model and outcome.

Responsible for achieving a defined revenue target and meeting defined service revenue and margin across the assigned accounts (Programme P&L). May also be required to be involved in pricing and comprehensive deal margin analysis, comparative pricing analysis, and contract term negotiation & closure (including basic & advanced service deals).

Drive clear, concise dashboards and reports to appraise senior management of end to end life cycle preparation and progress. To also drive a' prevention is better than cure' culture.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Contribute to the setting up of a pre-local entity business and project
  • Contribute to the setting up of a local entity and manage the transition between both states
  • Prepare Projects for success through driving robust readiness. Leave no stone un-turned
  • Execute projects seamlessly, right first time every-time
  • Drive the Customer engagement from a Services and Customer Operations perspective
  • Drive the Customer experience and be the Voice of the Customer continuously orienting the organisation to the Customer's desired outcomes
  • Business Partner to Sales Account Lead(s)
  • Derive the objectives and develop and execute the plan for success, so that the wider organisation has the right people, skills, agility, scale pro-actively in place to enable success
  • In depth understanding of customer contracts and commitments.
  • Develop and maintain key customer contacts, including at a senior level.
  • Ensure that people are engaged, enabled and empowered
  • Subcontractor and service partner management and direction.
  • Facilitate frequent review meetings between relevant customer operational groups and corporate groups.
  • Develop and track metrics related to our product or service performance with the customer in relation to contractual KPI commitments.
  • Drive revenue and margin assurance
  • Drive a pro-active, can-do culture
  • Negotiate and close service contracts with customers, with particular focus on ensuring comprehensive SOW's and strong P&L's are in place - ensure timely Maintenance and Service contract renewals.
  • Work closely with Sales Mgmt, Commercial Mgmt, Finance, and Legal to ensure all areas of the commercial deal have oversight, understanding and appropriate approvals.

  • Be prepared to work at all levels eg from arranging access for Site Surveys to Exec level Reporting including Financials and Customer Experience CSAT

  • Working in a Sales and Services, customer facing, Solutions oriented role
  • Solid understanding of Ciena's products and technologies.
  • Self-starter, capable of owning areas of responsibility and understands how and when to effectively engage senior management on issues.
  • Strong Leader, with proven ability to manage large multi-disciplined teams.
  • History of working in a Matrix management environment with success in motivating resources without direct reporting relationships.
  • Able to coach and mentor

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 5 years experience or equivalent in Customer Services Leadership and program/project Leadership.
  • Formal accreditation in program or project management preferred eg PMI, Prince2 or equivalent
  • Business improvement qualifications would be an advantage (ITIL, CMMI, Agile )
  • Although not essential, previous experience of working on the VF account would be an an advantage
