Web Developer - Brussels
Languages: ENGLISH only.
Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor or Master degree in computer science or computer engineering.
- At least 3 years of relevant technical experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Office tools.
- Experience with command line and Scripting languages (Shell,Perl,Python).
- Experience and knowledge of operating systems such as Linux/Unix (Debian), Windows (MacOS).
- Experience and knowledge of HTTP, HTTPS, TCP/IP, SSL.
- Knowledge of:
- Web administration interface such as Plesk or Webmin
- Java
- HTML 4
- PHP
- JS
- SQL (MySQL, PgSQL)
- CSS framework (Bootstrap 5, Semantic or Material Design, SASS).
- Web Servers such as Apache or Nginx
- Monitoring tools
- Ticketing tools (Redmine)
Description of work:
- Manage all support requests for different services for web applications.
- Monitor all different services such as server, database etc.
- Write the functional and technical documentation of tools.
- Create and upload some Shell Scripts (eg back-up SQL database, Firewall).
- Basic database administration.
- Provide DB management.
- Diagnose problems observed in test/staging/production environment.
