CONTRACT ROLE: Quality Assurance Lead - £400 per day - Milan/Dusseldorf

We are searching for a talented, Quality Assurance Lead to join our Product and Technology group, based in our Milan or Düsseldorf office.
The successful candidate will be responsible for quality testing and improving the entire QA, testing framework and processes. They will make significant contributions toward resolving potential quality issues and lead a small team, spread across Europe. Lastly, they will be responsible for creating and executing strategy for the implementation of Quality Assurance.
This is a contract-to-permanent position, starting on a six-month contract with the potential to convert to a Full time permanent position!
Daily Tasks will include, but not be limited to:
*Plan, create and manage the overall Quality Planning strategy.
*Collaborate with the Development, Product, and Delivery teams to ensure timely project execution.
*Manage a small team of QA engineers testing products, helping them identify any potential problems and suggest solutions. To escalate any majoring issues to the product development team.
*Audit the quality assurance process and suggest action plans for improving the process.
*Determine key performance indicators for product quality and use them to build testing benchmarks.
*Utilize KPIs to create reports for management, and to continuously improve product development.
Ideal Candidate:
*Successful track record as a QA team lead, managing small groups, ideally in multiple geographic locations.
*5+ years of progressive experience working as a QA Engineer, with a strong track record of using different testing techniques and strategies, with strong exposure in automated testing.
*Excellent technical skills, using Linux Shell and testing tools such as SoapUI, Postman, SQL, JIRA, Confluence and Kibana.
*Excellent communication and collaboration skills
*Fluent English (speaking, reading, writing).
