Description
Your Role
- Responsible for the Graphical User Interface (GUI) of BroadForward's entire next generation signalling product suite
- Maintaining and further developing the GUI, both regarding effective look & feel and efficient functionality
- Teaming up with the core-product developers to introduce new features
- Teaming up with the core-product developers to optimize the testing environment of the GUI
- Ensuring the latest technologies are used to improve the overall user experience of the GUI
Profile
- At least 3 years of experience with PHP and JavaScript programming in a Linux (pref. RedHat/CentOS) or another Unix OS environment
- At least 3 years of experience with HTML and CSS
- At least 3 years of experience with SQLite or similar database technology
- Experience with best-practices UI design
- Experience with modern frameworks such as Vue.js or React.js
- Experience with Git
- Preferably: Scripting (Unix Shell, Perl, Python)
- Bonus: SNMP and Network Management Systems
- Good communication skills in English (written and spoken), including technical terminology
- Self-starter, pro-active, able to take initiative and to work independently
- Self-motivated to deliver quality solutions
- Required to have permission to work in The Netherlands (speaking Dutch is not a requirement)
