Technical Author (SAP/Documentation Manager)

6 Month initial contract - Start ASAP
An SAP Technical Author is required to work for a global organisation who sit within the financial market sector.
Currently going through a SAP S/4 HANA implementation, they are looking for a Technical Author to work alongside the SAP team to document the existing processes, establishing best practice and consequently consultant/manage the teams as they work on the projects to ensure best practice is implemented moving forward.
The Cork SAP team is relatively new, and they have inherited a lot of documentation from existing teams which are based in Germany. As such, they are looking to start a fresh and ensure all documentation and best practice is at the required level moving forward.
Responsibilities:
- Build and provide consultancy for SAP Basis/Operations Best Practice.
- Review current SAP Basis and Ops process and Documentation.
- Handle Audit queries and requirements for SAP Operations
Key experience/Skills:
- Extensive experience writing end user documentation (eg how-to guides, installation and upgrade guides and reference guides) for complex, technical software.
- Ability to work closely with multiple team's booth functional and technical
- Knowledge of SAP Business Suite, different SAP modules and their interrelations.
- Knowledge HANA L2, Google Cloud Platform, ERP (incl ECC 6 & S4), Solution Manager 7.2
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure, virtualization, networks, SAN storage
