The Role
Your New Department
The department R&D IT provides IT Services enabling R&D engineers to do their engineering work. The design environment is an integrated solution and service of Design Infrastructure, EDA application landscape, Design Data Management and Product Creation Applications. The Global R&D IT services are delivered from small number locations, containing Data Centres (full set of services) and Satellites Centres (limited set of services). The objective of R&D IT is to ensure Business Success and Market Leadership for ConSol Partners' Client by providing Best-in-Class IT Services and IT Solutions for the R&D community.
Your New Team
The Process Automation squad is the leading squad within R&D IT on topics like automation and development of fully automated self-service solutions with ServiceNow & Ansible Tower. The squad is also responsible for supporting other R&D IT squads in the DevOps journey by providing a supported platform to enable automation initiatives in all squads.
Your New Role
You will be the ServiceNow DevOps specialist for the R&D IT department. As a ServiceNow DevOps engineer you will be responsible for developing and implementing self-service solutions on ServiceNow and integrate with automation platforms like Ansible Tower to deliver end-2-end process automation.
The Individual
3+ years of software development experience.
2+ years of experience with ServiceNow application development, including: Scoped Applications, Tables, Import Sets, Forms, Notifications, Java Scripting, Business Logic, ACL's, Workflows, Flow Designer, API integrations and Service Catalog Items.
Experience with DevOps concepts like code version control (Git), CI/CD and automated testing.
Willing to become a cross functional team member and learn from colleagues with other automation skills.
Work experience in a large enterprise environment.
Certified ServiceNow System Administrator, Certified ServiceNow Application Developer and/or Certified ServiceNow Implementation.
Good understanding of IT infrastructure components & solutions, like: networking, storage, Servers and virtualization.
Good understanding of out-of-the-box and customized integrations for ServiceNow.
