Intelligent Resource Limited is working in partnership with a major Public sector client in the UK. We are currently recruiting an Senior External Communications Adviser for an initially 2 months contract based in Chelmsford.

Title: Senior External Communications Adviser
Location: Chelmsford
Pay rate: up to £200 per day inside IR35
Duration: 02 months initially
- Educated to degree level or equivalent by experience.
- Evidence of continuing professional development and expert knowledge in relevant professional area.
- Significant experience of executing successful external communications activity and/or campaigns on a local and national level, on behalf of a large, complex organisation (public/political sector experience an advantage).
- Experience of reputational management and crisis communications.
- Strong news judgment and pitching skills, with excellent interpersonal writing and presentation skills and an ability to communicate clearly and accurately to a variety of audiences.
- Experience of working in a political environment, skills in understanding and responding to different perspectives and taking a cross organisational perspective.
- Evidence of implementing earned media strategies in the context of fully integrated marketing campaigns.
- Experience in a Communications and Marketing advisory/consultancy role (desirable).
