Harvey Nash are now inviting candidates to apply for the 7 week contract position of Accounting Technician to provide professional support and advice to the Directors and Section Heads in across the full range of finance functions.
Based in Edinburgh, you will prepare the financial information which managers use when making decisions.
Other responsibilities include:
- Monitoring and monthly reporting on current year income and expenditure against budgets and assisting in preparing future years' financial plans. Advising and assisting budget holders in the management of their devolved budgets
- Monitoring and monthly reporting on resources (staff, contractors and students) to assist budget holders in the management of their devolved budgets and to assess the progress to date on projects and plan future resourcing levels accordingly in order to meet agreed objectives
- General financial responsibilities including processing and paying invoices and recording receipts and payments.
