Description

Templeton & Partners is looking for an AWS Architect to start ASAP on a project in Zaventem.

Location: Zaventem, Belgium
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 3 months +
Rate: 400 EUR per day

Job Description:

In the role of Technology Architect, you will be supporting the business and application development teams by:

  • Defining the strategic, scalable and maintainable reference architectures with respect to business strategy and in alignment with short and long term objectives of the connected car platform
  • Creating technical diagrams and documentation
  • Defining and publishing the best practices and standards to be followed by development teams
  • Creating libraries, artefacts and poc's to help development teams for technology transitions
  • Co-ordinating with Enterprise architecture group to enable the development teams for implementing strategic technical reference architecture
  • Helping project managers and getting an agreement on proposed solution, taking into account existing Reference Architecture, cost and feasibility
  • Forming strong collaboration with project teams, operations, enterprise architecture and external vendors.

Mandatory skills needed:

  • Expert level knowledge of Java and micro services architectures and patterns
  • Practical experience and knowledge of Cloud platform (AWS)
  • Hands-on knowledge of implementing Streaming and Event driven architectures (CQRS, Domain Driven Design)
  • Knowledge of Cloud (Azure and/or AWS): HDInsight Storm, Stream Analytics, Event hub, IoThub, Azure Functions

Good to have skills:

  • Agile Knowledge and experience of working in scrum team
  • Strong in Java concurrency and know-how of non-blocking IO, functional and reactive programming
  • Scrum Certification
