Communications Co-ordinator - Derby - SC Cleared - Contract

NB - Valid SC Clearance required for this role

We are looking for Communications Co-ordinator/Schedulers to work on an IT migration project based in Derby

The role of the Communications Coordinator/Scheduler is to organise, schedule and coordinate communication events, issue communications, facilitate user responses and support the Communications and Readiness Manager.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

Provide a full administrative/scheduling support function which includes:

  • Issuing communications in accordance with the agreed communications plan and communications distribution processes
  • Monitoring a dedicated communications mailbox and facilitating user queries and responses
  • Recording and tracking user responses using a communications tracker
  • Logging Frequently Asked Questions and reporting them to the Communications and Readiness Manager
  • Monitoring calendar invitations, chasing non responders and providing user invitation updates to the Communications and Readiness Manager
  • Organising and scheduling communication events on behalf of the Communications and Readiness Manager

Knowledge, skills and abilities

  • Excellent communication and customer facing skills
  • Would suit PMO Project Analyst
  • Good technical understanding of the principles involved and the ability to translate this into non-technical language
  • Excellent MS Excel and MS Outlook database experience
  • Good eye for detail
  • Windows 10, Office365 project experience
  • A tenacious approach.
