Senior Java Developer (with PHP) - Brussels, Belgium
Languages: ENGLISH only
Skills and Experience:
- Master degree in a relevant subject plus at least 13 years of experience within IT.
- At least 7 years of experience in architecture and design of information systems.
- At least 5 years of experience in development of information systems with Java (both with J2SE and J2EE) with extensive use of design patterns.
- At least 4 years of experience in developing secure web applications, Apache Maven or equivalent, Object Oriented Design patterns eg Aspect-Oriented Programming (AOP).
- At least 4 years of experience in Testing Frameworks (JUnit, DbUnit, Spock) and in relational databases (Oracle, MySQL).
- At least 2 years of experience with UML or Case Tools.
- At least 2 years of experience in development of graphical user interfaces, other web Application frameworks (eg ZK, Spring), Angular2 or AngularJS or React or similar JavaScript framework, development of web services and/or other solutions.
- At least 2 years of experience with version control systems.
- Knowledge in PHP, web application design, Relational DBMS, Enterprise Architecture, business process analysis, web application design, interoperability technology (eg web services, message oriented Middleware, service oriented bus).
Description of work:
- Architecture and design of information systems.
- Review of the architecture of existing systems.
- Design and development of architecture components and building blocks.
- Analysis of the integration of different information systems
- Data analysis and Datamodelling.
- Coordination of the implementation of the technical architecture.
- Technical interface between the project leaders and the developers.
- Production of software architecture documents.
- Participation in technical working groups, progress meetings and meetings with the users.
- Assistance during relevant parts of testing, analysis, technical documentation, deployment, evaluation and reporting.
