The SCS Engineer is a key role, where you will be responsible reviewing the technical solution, its correct implementation and verification on site.
We need someone who can keep monitor and corporate with the EPC contractor, (ON THE SCADA SCS part). You should also be able to handle the sub-contractors, and assuring that they have the correct technical requirements. ie both an office job, but also go onsite to talk and check personally, and assure that the quality is according to spec.
Your responsibilities include:
Substation SCADA and its control systems
As you know, automation is a vital part of a substation project. All control and monitoring of HV equipment and auxiliaries are normally carried out from a centralized control room.
This increases requirements to the complete communication infrastructure and the control hardware implemented
- We need YOU to Ensuring that the project is on time and that deliveries and quality are within the scope checking that the subcontractors are Complying with company guidelines and standards in force as well as local requirements
- Participating in project team meetings and cross discipline cooperation
- Ensuring that the technical departments' best practices are implemented
- handle project-related technical communication with subcontractors, (eg. Technical clarifications, cable Schedule, Substation layout and handling instructions)
- manage all project-related activities required for the SCADA SCS delivery
- participate in FAT, SAT, SIT, commissioning, including general follow-up
- Responsible for QC of the deliverable
Your Qualifications
Recommended 5 years of relevant experience, preferably from wind farm industry, but not a must only onshore SCS SCADA is a must!
Degree within electrical engineering plus a track record of relevant experience
Good English skills, Chinese/Taiwanese is a big plus

Shift Pattern
The consultants will normally be working 8-10 hours a day/5 days per week. Monday to Friday. However, deviation may occur if required by the project.
Main Work Location
Taiwan, Taichung. Travel to Europe from time to time is to expect.
