Senior Data Architect - Dublin West - €+ Per Day DOE

International construction & engineering company with substantial operations in Ireland, the UK Europe and The Middle East is now looking for a Senior Data Architect to assist with an upcoming developmental project.
Headquartered in Ireland with an annual turnover of €1Billion+, this company has a interests in several sectors beyond construction and need the Senior Data Architect to help with the expansion of their current IT Infrastructure.
Working closely with the Company Solutions Architect, the Senior Data Architect will have a good mix of strong technical and business skills. They will also have recent experience in both the design and practical implementation of data based solutions/infrastructure.
While this role is initially offered on a contract basis, the level of growth experienced by this company is such that the role may subsequently be offered on a permanent basis. With a dynamic working environment and exposure to emerging data based technologies, this role offers ambitious Data Analysts and/or Architects the chance to develop Niche skills in a sector that looks set to experience significant growth for the foreseeable future.
Responsibilities of role:
* Co-ordinate activities of Company Data Analysts while collating the results of their work
* Identify, analyse and interpret data trends
* Develop strategic management information solutions to present data driven insights to senior management
* Ongoing monitoring and review of data analysis methodology
* Ensure accuracy, integrity and overall quality of data being presented to management and co-workers.
* Ensure full compliance with GDPR and any other relevant data protection legislation
* Work closely with Company Solutions Manager in the re-design and development of Company Analytics Infrastructure
* Manage the implementation and rollout of any addition infrastructure that may be required improvements.
Essential Candidate Requirements
* Minimum 5 years' experience in an analytical role, which should include experience of designing, implementing and managing data driven solutions
* Degree or appropriate equivalent in Computer Science, IT or a related, relevant quantitative discipline Mathematics
* Postgraduate qualification or other equivalent analytics related certification
* Strong track record of interpreting data to support business Goals
* Strong knowledge of and experience with Business Intelligence toolsets and database languages such as SQL, PL/SQL
* Strong problem solving ability
* Highly proficient in the use of with BI reporting tools
* An understanding if not experience with MI Reporting tools and processes
* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
* Ability to work as part of a team.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Immediate availability to work in Ireland without the need for Visa or Critical Skills Permit
