Job Description: -Linux L3 Exp: 9 to 12 years
Candidate should have more than 9 years of experience in managing Linux environment in production environments within an enterprise class data center. Primary distribution of Linux should be Redhat Linux, CentOS, Suse Linux & Amazon Linux
Candidate should have experience in patching linux Servers for enterprise customers in an automated way.
Respond to alerts issued by our monitoring systems
Candidate should lead the team in the event of priority tickets and solve any tickets within the stipulated SLA and traceback the RCA, and implement service improvement plans.
Large scale data center migration/cloud migration experience would be desirable
Candidate should have strong technical problem solving skills and experience in IP Networking and static routing, FTP, SSH, SMTP, DNS, HTTP/S, DHCP, Syslog logging facility
Experience with Linux Firewalls (Iptables), SELinux and Auditing. He/she should be able to harden the mission critical linux Servers according to industry standards.
Candidate will have to architected and maintained numerous end-to-end systems composed of server hardware, OS, advanced networking and storage providing high performance and robust application platforms
Expert level knowledge of UNIX/Linux Kernel and OS architecture accompanied with advanced UNIX/Linux administration skills
Experience with Linux Bash Scripting along with AWK and SED would be a mandatory requirement. Experience of Python and Perl would be an added advantage.
Candidate should have experience in managing linux infrastructure in cloud environments, preferably AWS and GCP.
He/she should have experience in collaborating using git version control setup
Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, puppet is a must.
Candidate should also have knowledge on orchestration tools like Jenkins.
Candidate should have experience in architecting and designing large automation solutions in cloud environments.
Candidate should have the ability to use a wide variety of open source and industry leading technologies and cloud services
The candidate must have good communication skills in order to be successful
Ability to organize information and produce technical and operational documentation
Position requires after hours support and willingness to work in shifts in accordance with customer's different geographical presence.
