Description
My client is a prominent and highly regarded mobile infrastructure equipment manufacture partnering with a major network operator in support of the upcoming 5G network upgrade in Northern Europe.
They current have an urgent contract requirement for a wireless engineer - competent and capable with 2G, 3G, 4G FDD and TDD BTS/RNC/BSC solutions.
GSM/UMTS/WiMAX/LTE access network good knowledge of Huawei/Nokia/Ericsson/Nortel/ALU Radio systems.
These are the key responsibilities of the job. On occasion you may be required to undertake other duties commensurate.
* Wireless technical service
* GSM/UMTS/WiMAX/LTE access network equipments data configuration
* Commissioning and integrate BTS/NodeB/BSC/RNC/e NodeB on site
* Solving wireless technical issues, working with radio planning engineers, R&D engineers as needed
* GSM/UMTS/WiMAX/LTE access network equipments daily maintenance
* Customer technical support service
* Surveillance and remote fault resolution,
* Provide technical support for customers by means of diagnosing complex technical issues, technical enquiries, and providing regular status updates to customers
* Interface & respond to customer technical requirements and issues, formulate & implement operation & maintenance solutions, in-time and effectively to solve the requirements & issues, and obtain customer satisfaction and the companies professional image.
* To organize & conduct operation & maintenance activities as per customer maintenance contract.
* To assist & support the Network operation centre so that maintenance services are implemented to a high standard and within the SLA.
Desirable Requirements:
* General knowledge and understanding of 5G radio networks.
* Hands-on radio equipment support experience
* Hands-on radio equipment rollout experiences
* Hands-on radio equipment swap experience
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills
* University degree in management, Telecommunication or Electrical/Electronic Engineering or relevant working experience.
* Excellent communication skill
* Experience with operator O&M department
