Communication and clearly defined processes are the key to success!For an exciting project for one of our clients, a Global player in the banking sector we are looking for your excellent support as IT Technical Writer/ IT Analyst (m/f/d).
In this project you play an important role in the analysis, process development and documentation of a global IT infrastructure and its requirements. We are looking for a person with self-starter mentality and excellent communication skills for a highly technical environment, especially to secure the requirement and documentations regarding backup and storage processes.
The project is located in the area of New York, USA or London, UK.
Your tasks:
- Analysis of existing infrastructure, processes and tools related to manage and control data security and storage solutions
- Information acquisition and internal communication partner for IT, technical and data security or administration departments and other internal relevant stakeholders
- Create, update, and manage high-quality documentation regarding IT infrastructure and backup and storage tools
- Support documenting governance Control Objectives and Control Requirements
- Investigate complex IT organization needs regarding data security and saving and dealing and analyzing processes to storage large amounts of data
- Support developing and updating project schedules to allow tracking of project activities
- Preparation and definition of forms, instruction / operation manuals and guidelines
- Independent work in an international environment
- Translate technical information into clear, readable documents for technical and governance users
Required skills/experience:
- Degree in business, computer science, information technologies, technical documentation design or equivalent experience
- Relevant IT experience with storage and backup systems, applications, business processes, and business intelligence reporting
- Strong experience as IT Technical Writer/ IT Analyst
- Excellent knowledge about company requirements and processes regarding the emphasis backup & storage
- Practical knowledge in this area and its processes is a big plus
- Excellent in documentation of IT infrastructure, IT operation and knowledge management
- You love to communicate and present on a high level in an international environment with different stakeholder
- Proficiency understanding of business goals and objectives and the ability to keep senior management adequately informed
- Fluent written and spoken English, other language skills like German are an advantage
- Team player with self-motivated mentality and structured way of working
- Willingness to travel worldwide
- At best, you are in possession of a residence permit and work permit for USA or UK
Project start: middle of January / February 2020
Duration: till end of 2020 with option to extend
