Description
A Graduate Digital Content Development Coordinator is required by the university's e-learning team, in Exeter. The role is to support the development of a range of online Masters programmes, Undergraduate courses, and MOOCs. This paid GBP role is available immediately until the 31 st July 2020.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Purpose of Role
The post-holder will work as part of the e-learning team at the University to support key strategic projects, including online master's degrees, Degree Apprenticeships and MOOCs. The role will be varied and include working with colleagues within the team to manage the quality of the online courses.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development and delivery of online courses working closely with colleagues in the e-learning team.
- Undertake proof reading of content to ensure consistency and quality is maintained following agreed quality assurance processes
- Support the work of the project leads and provide support for the wider projects
- Oversee the design, import and integration of materials into the online learning platforms
- Support the course re-run process (importing and updating content, liaising with academics)
- To coordinate room bookings for meetings, filming and other key project events

The post-holder will be offered training and development in line with the work being undertaken.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Attainments/Qualifications
- A graduate from a UK university from the last 3 years and the degree can be in any subject.
Skills and Understanding
- Excellent IT skills
- Eye for detail and experience or aptitude for proof reading and producing high quality work
- Able to manage a varied and demanding workload and to work to quickly changing deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- An interest in the pedagogy of e-learning and leading-edge web-based course design approaches
Prior Experience
- Familiarity with online learning environments (e.g. Moodle, FutureLearn)
- Awareness of the issues of copyright and digital media

- Ability to work alone or as part of a small team, prioritising appropriately
Other Requirements
- Right to work in the UK for the duration of the internship.
