Description
Harvey Nash's public sector client is recruiting for a Management Accountant on an initial 6 month contract. You will maintain management accounts for one of the business areas and also provide generalist financial reporting and advice to senior managers as required.
Essential Skills/experience:
* Strong management accounting skills
* Self starter
* Ideally qualified accountant or with proven experience in working in a financial setting
* Ability to translate complex financial issues into non financial terms
* Facilitation, influencing and negotiating skills
* High level of IT literacy with knowledge of varied financial systems and MS Office packages
* Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
