My client is looking for an IP-Network Solution Architect, who will be responsible for creating end-to-end technical solutions for/with our customers and driving these solutions towards integration. In this role, you will be accountable for delivering network design and optimizing services for mobile telecom networks.
The Solution Architect typically interacts with customer technical staff, operation managers, domain specific solution architects, service engineers and other groups within the Service Delivery organization. Occasionally, you may also interact with groups in sales, product development & 3rd party suppliers.
In this role you will:
Service delivery of IP-Network Solutions focusing on Product integrations
Have a primary focus on Dutch telecom customers, optionally others within the Market Area.
Managing and participating in various delivery activity streams, preparing customer workshops and technical discussions.
Driving end-to-end technical solutions.
Support Account manager with commercial offers
Analyze customer technology/solution deployed, define key areas of improvements and participate in critical issue handling.
Develop technical presentations and perform customer presentations.
Support deployment of solution.
Good experience in Service Delivery roles.
Work in traditional waterfall projects: Network Design, Planning, Optimization
Adapt the "Agile" ways-of-working
As an ideal candidate, you will have:
One or more relevant IP-Network "design" certificates, ie Cisco CCDA/CCDP (or any Juniper, F5 equivalents).
Have a solid understanding of IP-Network security issues
Good communications & presentation skills. Ready to work in diversified culture where the English language is key.
Education: B.E./B.Tech in Electronics/Telecommunications or similar.
Experience in a similar role
High competence on Ericsson products UDC/OSS/BSS
Experience on Operating systems ie Ubuntu, RedHat (OpenStack), virtualization technologies VMWare vSphere, Ericsson CEE.
Natural eagerness to drive solutions and willing to learn continuously.
Experience with network protocols like: MPLS, BGP, OSPF, IPSec, IPv4/IPv6, QoS
Experience with network devices like: Routers, Switches, Firewalls, Load-balancers
Experience with network services like: DNS, NTP, SNMP, trace-tools
