Azure Consultant - BI
We are seeking an experienced Azure Consultant with BI experience. You will be responsible for leveraging your knowledge of Azure to assist and guide the migration from an on-prem data warehouse to the cloud. You will develop new functionality for both on-prem and Azure Cloud BI solutions. You will move data from source repositories to target Azure systems. Your knowledge of the ETL process will be pivotal to assisting this migration and you will serve as an internal consultant to the data warehouse team. At times, you will create new data warehouse solutions and integrations using your arsenal of Azure tools.
This client is an enterprise company with multiple initiatives that will lead to continued improvements in how they service their customers, ultimately increasing market share and resulting in growth. As the Azure BI Consultant, you will be working with extremely significant data and have high visibility to senior leadership.
This is a 6-month contract opportunity and is located in the Cumberland/Marietta area, just a short drive from the Battery!
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Strong Azure Cloud experience (2+ Azure projects, either lift and shifts or new development in the cloud)
- Familiarity and understanding of Business Intelligence
- Strong communication skills
- Solution-oriented, consultant mindset
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Snowflake
- Experience conducting migrations from an on-prem data warehouse to the cloud
