Test Automation Engineer x2 | Vienna
My client is looking for an experienced Test Automation Engineer who will be responsible for all aspects of software testing. You will be collaborating closely with business analysts, application managers and software engineers. Ensuring smooth operation of the IT systems and a structured change process.
Your responsibilities:
- Create test ideas, scenarios and test cases, development and execution of the test cases (manual/automated) for software applications/interfaces.
- Define the test automation approach, test strategy, based on quality scenarios and business requirements analysis within an agile environment.
- Review and further optimization of testing methodologies and test automation methodologies
- Defect analysis and defect management in an agile world.
- Utilise your skills to provide insight, ideas and skills on further development of test automation with supported tools, applying test automation.
- Develop and maintenance existing testing framework in terms of its functionality and flexibility.
- Support and communication with business units during different testing phases.
Your current experience:
- Extensive test automation experience.
- Testing certificates such as ISTQB, CAT and MAP.
- Strong knowledge of programming and Scripting languages; SQL, JAVA and PowerShell.
- Extensive experience of various testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, Protractor, Rest Assured, Micro Focus UFT, Serenity, JIRA.
- Experience with agile techniques (SCRUM or Kanban).
- Previous experience working within a financial organisation.
