Description
Java Specialist required to assist the organisation and their ever changing needs. Java Specialist will assist this organisation in projects across the EU and worldwide. Java Specialist will have vast experience in design and development of web and multi-tiers applications, web services and Service Orientated Architecture.
The selected Java Specialist should comply with the following;
- Requirements review and in conjunction with the Information Resources Manager (IRM) team and the business analyst, analysis of the expected achievements, taking in account the existing features and database. Close cooperation with the business analyst.
- Architecture and design of information system study,
- Design and development of component architecture and building blocks,
- Analysis of the integration of different information system,
- Data analysis and Datamodelling,
- Coordination of the implementation of the technical architecture,
- Assistance and participation in the analysis of requirements, prototyping, development of new functionalities, maintenance of applications, integration of technological components, testing, deployment,
- Production of technical documentation and user documentation,
- Participation in technical working groups, progress meetings and meetings with the users.
- The application architect will bring his/her support in the reconfiguration and setup of the new structure of the system
- The contractor will have to cooperate with the analyst, application developer and an EMC expert to perform tests, updates and with the IRM team and with other stakeholders including the client's representatives.
- In order to take account of contractual requirements, the contractor must receive a copy of this technical request by his/her contracting company and undertake to respect all points.
Qualifications
- You hold a Master and 13 years of experience OR a Bachelor and 17 years of experience,
- Very good knowledge of the design and development of web and multi-tiers applications,
- Very good knowledge of applications design and development in JAVA
- Very good knowledge of Business Process Analysis
- Good knowledge of web services,
- Good knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture,
- Good knowledge of relational database systems,
- Good knowledge of Interoperability Technology
- Good knowledge of software development methodologies (eg RUP) and of modelling tools (eg UML),
- Good command of English, ability to work in English and in French is an asset.
- Capable of working with staff from different contractors in a multi-cultural environment.
- Experience with PM² methodologies is an asset
- Knowledge of EU-Login and Secunda building block is an asset
