NEW CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY AVAILABLE IN THE BEFORDSHIRE FOR AN EXPERIENCED CONTRACT ELECTRICAL DESIGN AUTHORITY
- Contract position available for a Electrical Design Authority
- £50-60 per hour (outside of IR35)
- 12month+ initial contract

WHAT WILL THE CONTRACT ELECTRICAL DESIGN AUTHORITY BE DOING?
As a Contract Electrical Design Authority, you will be working very closely with the Chief Engineer on Electrical Design and Electronic design acceptance on a range of armoured vehicle projects. The role will encompass hardware electrical power, circuit protection, low voltage high current power distribution and EMC.
WE NEED YOU THE CONTRACT ELECTRICAL DESIGN AUTHORITY TO HAVE
- Hardware electrical power and circuit protection experience
- Power and control strategy implementation experience
- Low Voltage and high current power distribution
- Internal and external Supplier/Customer handling at system level
- Hardware and bus protocols such as CAN, SSI, RS422, IBIS, Ethernet, 1553.
- Security clearance (SC) or the ability to satisfy SC clearance criteria
IT WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE
- Saber RD or similar simulation experience
- Def Stan 61-5 (part 6) knowledge/experience
- Hands on, practical experience with electrical installation, harness and busbar design
- Experience with 28V vehicle power generation and distribution
- Knowledge of EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility)
