Robotic Process Automation/RPA Technical Lead - UiPath/Blue Prism/Python
6 months rolling/London/£700 - £800 per day (dependent on experience)
A leading global financial services company based in London seek an experienced Robotic Process Automation/RPA Technical Lead to be hands-on and responsible for all RPA proposals across various business units, although initially focusing on a single business unit.
As the Robotic Process Automation/RPA Technical Lead, you will need to have extensive experience developing UiPath solutions and be focused on building a greenfield RPA Centre of Excellence based in London. You should have extensive experience of working with UiPath, along with strong Python programming skills and also experience with Blue Prism.

Ability to recognise when RPA is of commercial advantage, but also when other techniques such as simple software development may be more suitable.

Strong stakeholder management.
The Robotic Process Automation/RPA Technical Lead position comprises advising automation analysts in digital process design as well as implementing process automation, specifically UiPath and Blue Prism. You will be Leading the team of RPA developers, ensuring relevant development guidance in RPA is provided, establishing governance processes and a code of conduct for citizen developers. Ensuring the development of RPA methodology and Service Delivery/Service Readiness documentation. Experience of working with senior stakeholders and experience of liaising technical understanding and providing status reporting, issues escalation and risk management, is important.

Experience required for the Robotic Process Automation/RPA Technical Lead position:

Experience with UiPath and Blue Prism Bots and technology.

Demonstrable experience developing RPA solutions in UiPath and ideally Blue Prism as well.

Strong Citrix exposure aligned to RPA.

You will have strong hands-on knowledge of RPA (UiPath and/or Blue Prism preferred) in a large-scale environment.

Strong documentation skills and an appreciation for good documentation associated with all new solutions developed. Attention to detail in report writing is extremely important.

Programming experience in Python, C# or VB.NET.

Programme or Project Management qualifications such as AGILE.
