Web Application Support Consultant (Ruby on Rails)
Are you a talented Ruby on Rails developer searching for an enticing role that reflects your skills?
Our client, part of the United Nations and based in Rome, is looking for a Web Application Support Consultant to work on a project in Rome starting in late November through to Xmas
The client location is based just 20 minutes from the Historic Centre, and near the Metro, access to the City is excellent whilst not paying City Centre accommodation costs. Flights to and from Rome during the period up to Xmas have historically been priced very reasonably
Working for the ICT Solutions Team you will be responsible for Ruby on Rails/web application maintenance and for the development of change requests.
Specifically you will:
- Provide expertise and support on bug fixing and minor change requests of live web applications
- Continue iterative improvements of Ruby on Rails applications
- Provide technical knowledge in engineering, releasing and maintaining web-based enterprise applications
- Update the IT Knowledge Base, ensuring application documentation is up-to-date and available
- Any other support duties as required
