Empiric are engaged with our global client based in Glasgow to secure multiple Scala/Spark Developers on a contract basis for a key greenfield platform build on a multiple year programme.
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work with cutting edge Big Data technologies on an innovative platform build.
To be right for this, you will have experience with the following:
- A proven track record on platform & big data development projects
- Experience with the latest Big Data Technologies (Hadoop2.0+, Spark/Scala, Kafka, SparkSQL, Hbase, Impala, Hive and HDFS)
- Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
