Sharepoint Developer - Malta (€300 - €350 a day)
Morson International are working with a global consultancy who are looking for a Sharepoint Developer to join their team in Malta. This is an initial 3 month contract with the chance for a number of extensions. My client are paying €300 - €350 a day.
The Sharepoint Developer will be involved in:
. Development and maintenance of applications, including applications based on SharePoint add-in model and SharePoint Online
. Development and integration of technological components
. Implementation of user requirements
. Prototyping
. Integration with other applications
. Writing of technical documentation
. Deployment and configuration of the system
. Follow established processes for configuration and release management to ensure that all project artefacts are managed, integrated and versioned according to standards
. Participation in meetings with the project teams
The successful Sharepoint Developer will have:
. Minimum 3 years of relevant education (bachelor degree or equivalent) after secondary school
. Minimum of 6 years of IT professional experience
. Minimum of 2 years of experience in web site management
. Minimum of 2 years of web page design and development experience
. 3 years of IT/System and/or web design/development experience with web design tools, including:
. 2 years of SharePoint development experience (eg Web Parts, Apps, Themes, Scripts, Workflows, Add-in model)
o 1 year of SharePoint architectural experience on an enterprise implementation
o 2 years of Microsoft administration experience on Windows operating systems
o Scripting and/or Microsoft .NET development experience
. Experience in web site support
. Experience in web technologies and web design (eg JavaScript, XML, HTML, CSS)
. Experience on Azure
. Microsoft SharePoint certification or equivalent experience
. Experience with SQL server database structures, procedural programming and development of SSIS packages
. Good understanding of SharePoint, PowerShell and SharePoint Management Shell, as well as the different out of the box web parts and their functionality, InfoPath Form Services and SharePoint Designer
. Demonstrated experience translating a final design into a finished SharePoint web presence
. Knowledge of information management technologies and platforms especially SharePoint 2013 and SharePoint Online
. Working knowledge of SharePoint farms, it's current architecture and update level against current Microsoft baseline
. Fluency, in English, to at least B2 level according to the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).
