Description
Requirement involves working with Ofsted analysts to develop automated processes using the R programming language.
The supplier will need to be able to work with Ofsted analytical staff to:
- develop and help others to develop automated statistical processes
- develop the knowledge and skills of key members of staff so that they could develop and maintain these processes.
These processes typically involve creation of a data set to facilitate statistical analysis or an analysis briefing in PDF or Word for non-technical staff.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
Excellent programming skills in the statistical programming language R
Experience of working with SQL and Excel and integrating with R
Experience of using the R Markdown package
Experience of working with others to help them develop their R programming skills
A current DBS check is required.

Excellent collaboration skills
Experience of working in a small Agile Team
Ability to present technical concepts clearly
