Senior Scala Developer | Cats | Fintech
Senior Scala Developer required by an innovative fin-tech company in London that uses cutting edge technology to provide fraud prevention products.
The role will suit someone who has a keen interest in functional programming, distributed computing and cats.
Experience required:
- Commercial experience with Scala and understanding of Functional Programming Principles
- Experience in driving development through BDD and TDD
- Exposure to Cat Libraries
- Experienced in participating in workshops to identify and define user requirements
- Experience of developing high and complex transaction, multi-threaded systems
- Experience of developing highly interactive websites/apps and familiarity with the challenges involved
- Experience in integrated environments using managed source control systems such as Gitlab
- Possess a good understanding of different software architectures
- Familiarity with OWASP secure coding
