Security Architect - Scala, Microservices
We have partnered with a leading digital government department, who are looking for a Security Architect - Scala, Microservices to join their cross-functional teams based in Bristol.
The Security Architect - Scala, Microservices will work in collaboration with Development and Operations teams to advise on security policy and turn theoretical knowledge into practice. They should then share knowledge with engineering teams, championing security practice and work collaboratively.
Key elements of the role:
- Be the driving force behind threat modelling of platform infrastructure and web applications.
- Work with multiple tech teams to root out issues, triage and get fixes into iterations.
- Have an understanding of modern development and infrastructure stacks (specifically Scala and Microservices), with the ability to review security-specific code and help design new security systems.
- Experience working in an agile, DevOps environment in order to help build a DevSecOps culture.
