Senior Developer (Scala, Kafka) is required for a rolling 6-month contract based in Central London with occasional travel to Zurich, Switzerland. This is an urgent requirement.
As the senior Scala Developer you will be involved in a number of exciting projects including building a new platform for a financial services client. As this is a rolling 6-month contract there is the chance to work on several different projects with this client with at least 2 years' worth of work currently in the pipeline.
The ideal candidate will have technical experience with:
- Scala experience (minimum of 5 years)
- Kafka experience
- Developing within an Agile environment
- Implementing APIs for integration with internal and external systems.
- Financial background or financial services experience
Desirable experience includes:
- Cloud Migration
- AWS OR AZURE
- AKKA
- Docker, Kubernetes
This is a great opportunity to secure a long-term contract and be involved in a plethora of exciting projects within the finance sector. This role will require travel with 3 weeks out of month being spent in London and 1 week being spent in Zurich.
