Software Asset Management Analyst
Our client, a leading British corportation, are recruiting for a Software Asset Management Analyst to join the team on a contract basis.
Responsible for:
- Software Requests
- Review, approve or reject all requests for new Product Development and Research applications
- Monitor and resolve software requests from users globally for engineering applications in Product Development against agreed SLA
- Update software list in ServiceNow
- Perform user appropriateness review to determine whether the requester is an appropriate user of the requested application
- Liaise with RDD where licences are managed centrally by them
- Ensure contracts for licences and/or support are renewed in a timely manner
- Request quotes, raise POs etc.
- Ensure all contract documentation is stored in an appropriate repository to provide proof of entitlement evidence
- Record actual spend against budgeted
- Support budget planning and participate in regular budget reviews
Skills:
- Basic knowledge of engineering software
- Ability to offer solutions to various IT related problems
- Effective interpersonal skills essential to maintaining good working relationships and empathy with both technical and non-technical staff, including the ability to communicate well with a wide variety of users, of very differing levels of IT skills.
- Experience of operating within a global organization with a proven ability to deliver
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills, including the ability to produce technical documentation when required
