Description

Senior UX/Visual Designer - Dashboards/Widgetssought by leading financial services organisation based in the city of London.

Key Responsibilities

* Gathers and understands business requirements from Propositions on new products and features and translate these into a best-in-class user experience to grow business objectives and meet measurable targets.

* Drive user experience, interaction, and visual design throughout the entire project life cycle from ideation, sketches, user flows and wireframes to the delivery of simple and easy-to-use experiences that reflect the brand and its values

* The role will have big overlaps with UX and Product - be prepared to roll your sleeves up! Working as part of an agile squad to deliver iterative designs throughout the development process

* Works to improve the design process within a highly collaborative and iterative workflow. Establishes close working relationship with technical architects, developers and project managers.

* Is able to be confidently creative whilst Adhering to design standards and developing new ones.

* Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments

Experience and Qualifications

* Senior visual and experience designer - Core skills in Widget/Dashboard designs, building interactive high fidelity prototypes and native app design

* Expert level in Sketch, Adobe CC, Webflow and design frameworks

* Craft modern Web UI components to enable Front End developers build clean, efficient and reusable code. Experienced in Inclusive design and building design systems

* Well skilled in HTML, CSS, JS and a bit of React

* Contributing towards standards, methodology, design, capabilities and architecture

* Problem solving skills, key believer in collaboration and great team member on user feedback

* Good communication, presentation and writing skills

* Excellent team workshop facilitation skills

* Experience in design thinking, rapid ideation and customer co-creation

* UCD/Agile/Lean development experience

* Financial Services experience highly preferred
