Description
Ruby on Rails Developer required to work with a Government department based in Westminster. This is an initial 6 month contract, In Scope of IR35, paying up to £600 per day.
As a senior Ruby on Rails developer you will have experience:
*Working in a multi-disciplinary agile team environment using test driven development (TDD).
*Working with SQL databases (eg. PostgreSQL).
*With event-based data models.
*Building, documenting, and testing JSON APIs
You will have knowledge and an awareness of AWS, Kubernetes, NoSQL databases (eg. DynamoDB), and when and how to use them.
You'll work closely with a Front End Developer therefore knowledge of Front End technologies (HTML, CSS, Javascript) is desirable
