Description
Account Generalist urgently required to work in Bordeaux, France for an initial 3 months Contract role for our Multinational Telecommunication Client.
The role involves;
* Assisting with monthly close for International entities
* Deep dive in Debits and Credits to analyse and propose correction of accounts if necessary
* Assist with key business reconciliations in Blackline at month end
* To assist with the "live" phase of the ERP rollout project
* To work closely with other members of the Finance team to pro-actively offer help where required (AR, AP and cash management), in particular AP cycle in France
* To help with the external audit process as need be
* To help develop, and maintain, strong internal controls
* To assist on ad-hoc projects, such as system's implementation, contract negotiation
You must have a strong background in;
* Accounting (strong knowledge of entries Debits/Credits)
* Will have previously worked in an international environment with dual accounting GAAP.
* Can demonstrate effective time-management; be capable of dealing with deadlines
* Have proven analytical skills and have a proactive approach to problem solving
* Good communication and team working capacity
* Very strong excel skills
* SAP experience is desirable
* Systems implementation experience desirable, but is not essential
* French and English fluent
