Java GUI Developer Credit E-trading/Quant Team- Fixed Income - Investment Bank
e-trading Java developer is required with experience of Java 11 (ideally), and working with Quants to develop GUIs and pricing interfaces for Credit etrading IT Team.
Looking for a strong Java developer nice to have - JavaScript (react.js) and SQL to work on building upon an existing pricing application which is used by credit traders and management globally. They will also be involved in designing and assisting with implementation of the next evolution of the platform by working closely with Quants, Support Teams and Traders therefore any Quant or mathematical knowledge would also be desirable.
Experience in etrading ideally Fixed Income products (Credit) Experience with financial tick data, preferably Fixed Income. Interest in financial models/statistics/machine learning.
Role
The Etrading Java developer will:
- Develop multiple GUIs and pricing interfaces for eCredit traders (both Back End and Front End)
- Help in developing and integrating brand new Web framework for e-trading analytics and ebooks
- Communicate with traders and quants to understand and gather requirements
- Work with core team to develop new generic graphing components to be reused in other asset classes (FX, Rates)
- Help in the daily data management tasks of the team and provide ideas for new analytical/visualisation tools
