Description

World Leading Global Energy Oil Company has an exciting opportunity for a Senior React Developer with Data Visualisation experience to join their cross-functional product team Embedded in their trading department. You will work closely with Back End engineers, product owner and users to deliver the product. You will be a part of a proactive group of engineers who are willing to do more than just respond to issues.

This area of the business sets out to do things differently by taking a unique approach of balancing human-centred and digital design with an Agile technology capability to tackle complex problems in original ways. With a huge variety of potential projects and digital products to build across the business, you'll be challenged to think and do differently, with the opportunity to get involved at all stages from discovery and design to embedding and scaling.

The environment thrives on working smarter not harder, and always look for opportunities to automate as much of our operations as possible. They make their own alerts, find anomalies, fix issues and ask why things happen.

About the role:

- Experienced with modern JavaScript coding, testing, debugging and automation techniques
- Solid experience in data visualisation practices and technologies (D3.js...)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
- User-centric mindset, you care deeply about performances, accessibility, and the overall user experience
- Rave about the benefits that CI/CD has given you in previous projects
- You have had exposure to Back End technologies such as APIs, databases, cloud services, and infrastructure
- A solid background in Computer Science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, and deftness at object-oriented design and systems architecture
- Great communication skills

This needs combining with a positive attitude and an ability to work within a large, globally dispersed project team in a multi-cultural environment. You also need to be a self-starter, a logical thinker and a quick learner, with strong initiative and excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, able to write clearly and concisely.
