Commissioning Engineer
Portsmouth
£36 per hour LTD
Initial 6 month contract
Advantage Resourcing are working in partnership with a global manufacturing company who operate within the Defence industry. They are currently seeking a commissioning engineer to join their site based in Portsmouth
As a Commissioning Engineer you must hold basic knowledge of how the Dockside Test Organisation is organised operates. This position is closely linked to other areas within Dockside Test Organisation and therefore you will be required to understand how these areas co-ordinate.
Core Duties include:
*Conduct equipment/system maintenance
*Commission equipment/systems
*Present acceptance trials
*Conduct basic technical investigations
*Use standard test equipment
*Operate Safe Systems of Work
*Identify, record, monitor defects and non-conformances
*Produce Technical Reports
*Liaise with customers and stakeholders
*Evaluate technical issues in order to develop proposals for investigations and/or solutions, including process improvements.
*Carry out technical analyses and investigations, including evaluation and selection of technical options, and prepare reports
Qualification
Formal HND in Engineering/informal training and on job experience.
Functional knowledge will be limited to Commissioning within the Engineering discipline.
