Key Aspects Of Your Role Will Include
Conducting independent research on multiple aspects of products and experiences
Collecting and analysing user behaviour through lab studies, field visits, ethnography, surveys, benchmark studies, and online experiments such as A/B testing
Conducting data analysis - including on usage data, drop-offs, and bank customer data - to derive insights that shape product direction
Work with designers, product managers and engineers to prioritise research opportunities in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
Understanding and incorporating complex technical and business requirements into research
Advocating research findings to diverse audiences through written reports and in-person presentations
Skills Required
-Experience of integrating user research into a technology product development cycle.
-Experience conducting semi-structured interviews, contextual field visits, and either live or remote usability studies, such as using tools like Userzoom or usertesting.com
-Working knowledge of data analysis techniques, processing large quantities of structured and unstructured data to derive insight
-Working knowledge of survey and feedback tools - such as Surveymonkey and Qualtrics - and research tools such as Dscout
-The ability to collate and present information and findings in a useful and actionable way
-Familiarity with developing screeners and recruitment briefs, and managing the recruitment of research participants through agencies
