is recruiting for a Network Technical Designer/Writer to join this elite team working for this prestigious networking managed services provider. The role will involve producing detailed install design diagrams related to networking, datacentre and infrastructure projects.
Environment:-
Technical Writer, Installation Design documentation, Cisco, Routing, Switching, Wifi, DWDM, Telecoms, Rack Layouts, Planning, Datacentres, Excel, Visio, 2D, 3D, bill of materials, Working from 2D/3D drawing.
Key Activity:-
Working from Technical 2D/3D drawings providing installation designs and documentation
Producing Bill of Materials
Working with CAD engineers to ensure the designs and achievable off drawings
Preparing installation guides
Day to day duties and requirements:-
The ideal candidate would be working in a similar role producing installation design documentation for multi discipline environments from data centre to Routers, Switches, wifi and structured cabling. This includes installation guides, equipment lists and providing CAD engineers with accurate equipment dimensions.
The role also includes producing bills of materials, survey reports, Cable run lists, rack layouts and site surveys to assist in accurate designs, working closely with network designers as well as the CAD team.
