Senior Programme/Build Manager (Telec/Rigging)
Location: Reading Centre
RATE: £300.00 per day
Start Date:
Working Hours: 8 hour days
Duration: 4 year contract

Main Duties include:
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for all aspects of a project delivery with a focus on client management, project commercials and project delivery

OVERVIEW:
*Managing a £5-8 Million per year project - End to End build & programme management which includes Civil requirements, Electrical and I&C installments - MBNL project - EE & 3 Networks (2G, 3G, 4G& 5G technologies) on site upgrades and installations.
*History of Rigging/Telecoms Construction - Fixed Line telecoms or Mobile Telecommunications
*Managing delivery team of up to 12-30 persons form the Build team - including the development in the team and liaison with HR

TEAM MANAGEMENT
*Project Delivery team are compliant with safety training & inductions along with training days
*Responsible for liaising with HR and Operations in regards to the resource of your team
*Ensure annual appraisals for all project resources take place

OPERATIONAL
*Implementation and maintenance of relevant approved processes, procedures, health and safety and technical standards and ensure their consistency with requirements of other departments and clients
*Management of the relevant sub-contractors, monitor performance in terms of time, cost, quality and health and safety
*Ensure familiarity of client specifications and ensure sites are audited as per relevant SLA. Ensure any changes to specification are documented and change management procedures are implemented
*Oversee Quality Management Process for the project â€" ensure all works are managed through the Infratrack system
*Regular forecast for project requirements for materials and plant ordering
*Undertake all necessary actions and support to facilitate achievement of delivery team targets in terms of time [programme], cost and quality
*Responsible for ensuring the monthly governance meeting takes place and all relevant stakeholders are present

HEALTH & SAFETY
*Ensure all project activities/project team are fully compliant with the Company Safety Management System and relevant statutory regulations
*Ensure Site Project Managers complete all necessary documentation eg H&S Plan, Site Survey checklist, Materials List (if applicable), Site Completion Pack (if applicable)
*Ensure that sub-contractors have received appropriate safety training
*Regular client H&S reviews to ensure standards are being adhered to and any necessary improvements implemented

ENVIRONMENT
*Ensure all project activities/project team are fully compliant with all the requirements of the Environmental Management System
*Responsible for ensuring all works are carried out in compliance with company's environmental standard ie site waste disposal, materials used - refer to SHEQ-1003 and SHEQ-1022 for listing of Environmental Aspects and Hazardous substances used in the company

Personal Requirements/Achievements:
*Degree in relevant discipline and Project Management Accreditation - Preferable
*At least 7 years experience in a Telecoms PM role- essential
*Strong understanding of project methodology
*Strong understanding of the principles of accounting in relation to project P&Ls E
*Strong organisational ability with experience in MS Project or similar project tools
*Proven people skills in delivery of project KPI†s and experience in a client facing role
