I am looking for a contract Senior VoIP Developer (Embedded software | VOIP | C programming | Telephony Standards) to join Europe's biggest entertainment brand in Essex.
Day Rate: £550
Location: East London (Brentwood)
Duration: 6 months rolling
The role:
As a VoIP software developer, you will be working on development, Integration & Debugging. You will track new development against agreed development plan and provide status reports to the team leader. Additionally, you will have the potential to work stream lead focussing on a specific delivery work stream within an overall project. You should have the desire to constantly improve and develop, as well as enjoys sharing ideas and summarising technical information.

Experience required:
- Delivery of Embedded software
- Voice Over IP
- Expertise in Embedded C multitasking Embedded environment
- Knowledge of Telephony standards and systems
- Strong debugging network applications using network diagnostic tools/methods
- Issue management experience using defect tracking tools
Nice to have:
- Software development for the following target applications
- PBXs or Softswitches | Home Routers and/or Network Media Streaming Servers (and/or Clients)
Internet protocol knowledge in the following areas: Application layer SIP, RTP | Transport layer TCP, UDP | Internet layer IPv4 IPv6
