SERVICE DESK ANALYST (CONTRACT)
BRAND NEW CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY AVAILABLE WITHIN AN INDUSTRY LEADING ORGANISATION FOR A CONTRACT SERVICE DESK ANALYST IN THE PORTSMOUTH AREA
- Contract position available for a Service Desk Analyst
- Up to £20 per hour (Outside of IR35)
- Portsmouth based organisation in an easily accessible location

WHO WE ARE?
We are recruiting a Contract Service Desk Analyst with experience using Service Management tools to work with an industry leading organisation who are at the forefront of their industry.
AS A CONTRACT SERVICE DESK ANALYST, WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
Providing 1st/2nd line support in a busy call centre environment. You will need to monitor and maintain computer systems and networks, diagnose incidents and support roll-outs of new software. You will be required to answer telephone calls, handle customer correspondence and complete ad hoc tasks. The service desk is operational 24/7 so you will be on a 4 week shift rota to support during all hours.
AS A CONTRACT SERVICE DESK ANALYST, WE NEED YOU TO HAVE .
- Working experience with Service Management tools (ServiceNow/Remedy etc)
- ITIL v3 Foundation
- Experience working in an operation support environment
- Basic understanding of Tivoli applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
IT WOULD BE IDEAL IF YOU, THE CONTRACT SERVICE DESK ANALYST HAVE
- Experience in 1st/2nd line support of AIX and/or windows Server systems
- Understanding of oracle databases
- Basic understanding of LAN/WAN technology
- Experience of postal operations
