A prestigious company is on the search for a VOICE Performance Engineer.
This role is a 6 month long contract. This role will be responsible to plan and implement enterprise Voice networks and related hardware and software. The current environment is Cisco 10.5 CCM and UCCE (Project to upgrade to 12.x). This role will perform assessments to see if the existing technology has performance or capacity gaps. Then will provide recommendations to optimize voice infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Designs and documents Voice architecture
- Perform assessments on existing technologies to determine performance and capacity gaps
- Provide recommendations to optimize voice infrastructure
- Tests and tunes voice devices and systems for optimal performance
- Must have working knowledge of SPCs, Cubes, and managing connectivity to the carriers
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Will be working with CCM emergency response and unity, the voicemail system
